My computer seems to be operating perfectly on all programmes and I am very pleased with the repairs you have carried out and one of the major factors was the fact of you doing it at my home instead of me having to remove and replace all the cables plus the matter of taking it to the place of repair and then collecting it again....and I feel quite relaxed in asking your advice on these matters.

Matt was 1) punctual 2) courteous and 3) interested in your computer problem! I was very happy with his work and service, made sure everything was working correctly, and even found errors on my computer via Nortons Utilities that had previously gone unnoticed. Not only that, he stands by his work by offering a free 30 day callout period should anything go wrong in that time. Of course, with our work in Internet Security and Web Programming at that time I was reluctant to trust a Computer Technician taking away my CPU Box. Matt has proved to be trustworthy.....he let me have a computer on loan without charge,.. When the motherboard was found not worth fixing I was allowed to use the loan computer until I had saved up enough money to afford a new computer. How many Computer Technicians would help you in this manner? It was at this point that I got to meet Matt's very sincere and helpful wife Janine, and a very accomplished Computer Engineer by the name of Rob. Rob is amazing! So it is not just Matt that is incredible, but who works for him also. Then my Computer Monitor died. Once again, I was able to borrow a Computer Monitor from Computer Help, until I bought a new one. So, Computer Help were indeed Computer Help. On reflection, what has impressed me the most is not the fact that Computer Help have fixed my computer, but rather the attitude in which they have fixed my computer. They are genuinely interested in your computer problems, they are reliable, and most importantly, they are helpful! So, next time you have computer hardware or software problems - call Matt of Computer Help and support him. He deserves it!

I have been with Computer Help for approx 4-5 years....I find them really helpful, they explain what is going on in your computer. And they do a check up to see if you are satisfied with the work and that the computer is working.... The news letter has tips in which I use and a lot of different sites you can go to.

HEART BREAKING

BACKUP DONE YET?

Just ask yourself,

"If I had a fire tomorrow in the computer area, would I miss any thing that was lost?".

It's heart breaking when people lose their photos etc. For us too. Insurance only covers the hardware- precious photos,documents and emails are irreplaceable. All that effort making your data is wasted.

Have you checked the backup recently? Remember that a backup is useless if it is stored in the computer or even in a nearby drawer. Have at least one backup offsite. For a fairly basic backup, a CD writer is more than adequate. But you have to remember to do it.
A better method is to use an external hard drive. They come with software that can automate the backup.
