Charity Votes - Computer Help

We’ve had a great response to our choice of a new charity to support. Lots of people have emailed us here at Computer Help NZ with messages of support for each of the three charities – 0800 Hungry, City Mission & Nurse Maude. It’s been lovely to read the longer messages that share a story of how these charities have helped you personally.

Some have shared about how their father was cared for in his dying days, others how they have been helped through a tough time. Others still about a tough financial crisis affected their friends and one of these charities was there to support them.

For the past four years, you've helped us to donate $8100 to 0800 Hungry through recommending our service to your friends and neighbours. Remember, we give $10 for each person you recommend who uses our service.

Be careful when you see a cheap laptop for sale, and you think “that looks like a bargain!” beware of hidden costs. If you are running Windows 10 or 11 and use Edge as your browser, you may have noticed it’s not working. You’ve double-clicked on the Edge icon on your computer, but nothing happens. It just sits there.

Microsoft Edge version 105.0.1343.25 is the culprit (quite a mouthful!) and many computer users have had this trouble.
