Charity Votes - Computer Help
We’ve had a great response to our choice of a new charity to support. Lots of people have emailed us here at Computer Help NZ with messages of support for each of the three charities – 0800 Hungry, City Mission & Nurse Maude. It’s been lovely to read the longer messages that share a story of how these charities have helped you personally.
Some have shared about how their father was cared for in his dying days, others how they have been helped through a tough time. Others still about a tough financial crisis affected their friends and one of these charities was there to support them.
Many of you have struggled to know who to vote for, being torn between two. A few even have left the choice up to us. I’ve given one vote for each in that case.
It’s been a real privilege over the last 10 years to partner our computer repair firm with these worthy causes – Child Cancer Foundation, Ronald McDonald House & 0800 Hungry (these are the charities we have support from 2012 until 2022). We might fix computers and laptops and help people with busted screens and broken hard drives, but these charities help people with busted lives and broken hearts.
The race between the three contenders is tight – who will be the winner?
